The journey continues

So, after three weeks making my way south through the Greek islands and then north into Bulgaria and finally the Romanian Black Sea coast, it’s now time for Spain and Portugal, after a week at home.

My first stop is Segovia, after a flight from Bristol to Madrid tonight (Mon 22 May) and then a morning train.

I have been wanting to see the aqueduct at Segovia for many years, and the time has finally come… Roman engineering and arch building will be celebrated!

After Segovia will be the following itinerary:

  • Zaragoza
  • Tarragona
  • Sagunto
  • Valencia
  • Alicante (a few days off with the family camping)
  • Córdoba
  • Sevilla
  • Mérida
  • Lisboa
  • Coimbra
  • Porto
  • Home

That just leaves the final three-week journey then, setting off on 19th June through Germany and down to Croatia.
