Sifnos – A Lazy Day; but we saw Picasso…
Greetings from Sifnos! Day 10 of our adventure and after a week of energetic travelling, our pace has slowed dramatically to almost zero.
There is a small pool here at the accommodation. Just a little jacuzzi, but heavenly when the weather is as hot as it has been today. And it’s a lot cooler than it has been, by all accounts. We spent some of the day in that, and some sitting out on our balcony. The rest has been spent in the sea, climbing up to the church above the beach, and walking along to the tourist information office to enquire about buses for tomorrow. Then a delicious meal. A man was sitting behind my wife who looked very much like Pablo Picasso in his later years. On inspecting the photo afterwards, it might be the retsina talking, however…!

Fried local cheese in lemon sauce. Just incredible.
What I Learned Today
I learned not much today. Slowly.
Looking Ahead
Heading to Apollonia in the centre of the island tomorrow, by bus. Also maybe to a different beach. Some relaxation will be involved.
